Join us at Airy Hill Primary School where we will be showcasing best practice in Little Wandle phonics , Early Storytime and Early Language Development, alongside sharing new DfE guidance on fluency and comprehension.
You will observe:
- High quality phonics teaching
- Effective environments that promote language
development and reading for pleasure - Teaching of early comprehension including the
explicit teaching of vocabulary from a quality text ,
teaching poetry and rhyme - Strategies and approaches on encouraging
storytelling within play
