This event provides you with guidance on how best to prepare for teaching phonics and will offer practical advice and examples of good practice. Together, we will look at the pedagogy behind the teaching of early reading skills. We will explore what high quality phonics teaching looks like to ensure that all pupils succeed. The course will refer to the reading framework and will not be aligned to a specific SSP.
